Since training as a practitioner in the Umana Technique as a Practitioner and Teacher I have had my higher chakras permanently opened. Before doing this I was aware of the higher chakras during meditation, they would open but close again once I had finished meditating.
You may already be aware of the seven main chakras which are linked with the physical body. If you have not heard about chakras I will happily explain. the word “chakra” comes from Sanskrit and translates to “wheel”. they are spinning disks of energy that are located along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head.
Beyond the first seven chakras lies the untapped potential of five extraordinary chakras ascending above the crown.
These higher centres of power are gateways to abilities and insights that transcend the ordinary, connecting us with the vast cosmos, beyond the beyond and its limitless energy.

So let us look at the First 7 Chakras, to begin with
1st Chakra
Root or Base Chakra:: Function: survival and grounding Inner function: Stillness, stability, security and belonging to the earth, The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Gabriel
Chakra Affirmation
I have the right to be on this beautiful Earth. I am an earth mother with the ability to take care of my life and all my needs and desires. I nourish myself with harmony and find my peace within.
2nd Chakra
The Sacral chakra: Function: desire, sexuality and pleasure. Inner function: feeling. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Haniel
Chakra Affirmation
I am water; the essence of form, yet formless. I feel I move, I flow, and I create. I am the Empress with worldly power and enjoy earthly pleasures of fun. I am abundant and have a strong emotional sense of life that I create from within.
3rd Chakra
The Solar Plexus Chakra: Function: will, power, and assertiveness. Inner function; Being: laughter, happiness and joy. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Uriel.
Chakra Affirmation
I am a warrior. Empowered and in control of my life. I am my own hero and master who is wise beyond words. I call to myself and awaken my inner power and self-reliance. I trust in my power and take control of my actions and my life.
4th Chakra
The Heart Chakra: Function: love and the Inner function is unconditional love and compassion. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Chamuel
Chakra Affirmation
I am love and I have the right to be filled with love: I am my lover and best friend. Loving oneself as a free spirit, generous, happy and in touch with my feelings. From I am made, from love, I grow. I hear now my heartbeat to the sound of love and life. Feel it open and expand, blossoming with the healing from within as I open my wings and learn to fly.
5th Chakra
The Throat Chakra: Function: communication and creativity and the Inner function: clairaudience. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Michael
Chakra Affirmation
I have the right to be heard and speak my truth with love and integrity. I allow my sacred sound, deep from within me to fly on the wings of love, chanting the voice that is deep within me, this is where I release it to be heard
6th Chakra
The Third Eye Chakra :Function: seeing and intuition and Inner function: clairvoyance. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Raphael
Chakra Affirmation
I have the right to see clearly as an intuitive, being guided by my inner wisdom, knowledge and discernment. I am a powerful co-creator; my thoughts and pictures create my reality. What is it that I wish to see in my life? I call it into being, from the uncreated into the manifest. My imagination is my strongest tool to create and I command it into our future.
7th Chakra
The Crown Chakra: Function: understanding of oneself and the Inner function: bliss. The angel associated with this chakra is Archangel Raphael
